How to Make Arabic Coffee – Arabic Coffee Recipe

  • 1 cup water;
  • 1 teaspoon sugar (optional);
  • cardamom, cloves, or cinnamon (optional).

Here’s how to make Arabic coffee:

  1. Place the ground coffee in an ibrik or small pot.
  2. Add the water and sugar (if desired), and stir to combine.
  3. Place the pot over medium heat, and bring the mixture to a simmer. Do not allow it to come to a boil. 
  4. Once the mixture has simmered for a minute or two, remove it from the heat and add your desired flavorings (if using). 
  5. Pour the coffee into small cups and serve immediately. Enjoy!
